An old design with a new twist

This is not the first Klutho inspired house we have designed, but it will be the first to actually be constructed. While this house looks like a cousin of the the original Klutho house, it has some unique characteristics of it's own. This house was designed as a retirement home for our client with a great emphasis on reading and writing. The lot itself is a "flag lot" with the slender portion of it greeting the street. It was a great challenge to accommodate this but has resulted in a large gallery hallway unifying the larger linear spaces with ribbon windows and reading nook.
